Gayo 2026 harvest: what the rain did to the cup
Late rain pushed picking two weeks back and lifted acidity across the plateau. What that means for wine lots this season.
SCA 85+ · Direct trade · Indonesia
PT Almic Agro Mulia exports specialty Arabica and Robusta at SCA 85 and above, and sells the same lots as drip bags. Every lot ships with its cupping sheet and its fermentation log attached.
01 — The company
We work directly with farmer groups across Sumatra, Java, Bali, Sulawesi, and Flores. Cherry is bought at the washing station, processed under our own supervision, and rested before grading, so every lot we quote is a lot we have handled ourselves.
Buyers receive a pre-shipment sample, a written specification, and the full export document set. On a repeat order we match the profile against the retained sample rather than the description, which is how the cup stays the same from one container to the next.
Post-harvest handled at stations we control, not bought as finished green.
Every shipped lot is archived so repeat orders match the cup, not the copy.
Moisture, screen, and defect written into the contract before loading.
02 — Origins
Select an origin for elevation, varieties, processing available, and the formats it ships in. Volumes are booked against harvest, so availability is confirmed by contract.
Aceh, Sumatra
Our largest Arabica programme. Smallholder plots on the Gayo plateau, with wine fermentation reserved for named micro-lots that we cup before booking.
03 — Green bean export
Specification is fixed in the contract before loading. Retained samples let us match a repeat order to the cup rather than the description.

The fermentation log is what closed it for us. We could explain the cup to our own customers without guessing.
Three containers in, the profile has not moved. That consistency is rare at this grade from Indonesia.
Samples arrived in a week with the score sheet already filled in. It saved us a full cupping round.
Placeholder quotes — replace with real buyer permission before publishing.
